Artist statement
I am an artist based in Amsterdam working with multiple mediums researching on the subject of physical freedom in our capitalistic society. Our exhausted, exploited bodies are framed, restricted in different places all around us. I believe the physical space we occupy always comes with hidden rules and infrastructure that facilitates the limitation of our movement and possibilities to be more than "rule followers".
My works are a way to subtly but surely disclose, and criticize the disguised forces that manipulate us. My projects always start from my personal experiences and gets amplified into bigger public by researching in ways like infiltrating into "forbidden" spaces, disguising to pass, and inhabit for long duration of time at the researching sites.
I have graduated from Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and shown my works at 4bid gallery, Bradwolff projects, Stedelijk Museum: UNCUT, De Bouwput and did residency at Sign(Groningen) and took part in Het Resort's Pilot Program 2026.
